Fiat India

The Fiat India is a joint venture of Fiat Auto Spa Group of Italy and Tata Motors Limited of India. Fiat was founded in 11th July 1899 in Turin, Italy by Giovanni Agnelli. The company has been in motor vehicle sector for more than 100 years now. Europe's favorite Fiat Spa car named as UNO has been selling for the last 2 decades. Other well-known brands of this car include Petra, Palio and Adventure.

The Company has 50-50 partnership between Fiat group and Tata motors. It contributes the Indian economy by employing 600 Employee. Fiat India has located at Ranjangaon, India. Tata motors are also owner of Fiat India, the second largest company to producing passenger vehicles to the Indian market with annual revenue of 7.2 billion US dollars. The Tata motor is also 5th largest company of the World.Over the many years, the Fiat India has gained experience in designing, marketing, manufacturing and distribution of vehicle.

Fiat India is also launches a small car powered by 1 litre engine for India by 2012. According to Mr. Rajeev Kapoor, MD, Fiat India, the new car is to be priced aggressively, will resist with Maruti Alto And the new small car will have no similarity from other Fiat cars, like the new UNO.
